Every 22 hours, you get 8 free messages. You need credits to chat with someone. So I find someone I want message, but I am told that you need 20 credits in order to message them. I had run out of free messages so I purchased credits. However, now I cannot send a message to this user because “this user has a lot of followers”. This means that even though I paid for chat, I can’t. Why not inform me that this user was very popular and that I still cannot message him with my credits? This is very misleading.

You cannot communicate with all users as a free user, despite the app being free. Thaicupid encourages you to become a premium member. The enrolment page states that premium users can “chat with other users immediately they sign up” and “be among the first to chat with popular users”. So I decided to purchase premium membership. It doesn’t accomplish what it claims. You can still chat with users without purchasing credits.
